Ángela Aguilar and Rachel Zegler use the same dress bold white dress to celebrate Latin Heritage

The two women wore the dresses for separate performances, highlighting their heritage

Ángela Aguilar and Rachel Zegler had the same idea. Weeks ago, Aguilar performed at the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro as an homage to the late performer Paquita la del Barrio, wearing a white dress with a red heart sown in the chest. Earlier this month, Zegler attended a Tokyo event of “Snow White” wearing a riff on the same dress.

Both women used the dress to highlight their Latin heritage, with Aguilar accessorizing the outfit for a traditional Mexican look while Zegler using it to celebrate Snow White’s roots and the fact that she’s now become the first Latina iteration of the role.

In both versions of the look, the white dress is tight at the top and puffy in the skirt, resulting in a dramatic and theatrical look.

Aguilar paired it with black heels and a red scarf that matched the red heart sown in the chest area. Next week, Aguilar will be performing at the Billboard Women in Music event, representing an exciting moment in her career.

Zegler’s dress appeared to be a longer cut. Designed by Paolo Sebastian, the look referenced the “heart box” motif of the original film, which belonged to the Evil Queen. Stylist Sarah Slutsky, who’s been working with Zegler throughout her press tour for “Snow White”, described the look more in-depth in an Instagram post.

“The daggered heart on the Evil Queen’s heart box is such a powerful icon from the Disney film archive,” said Creative Director and Designer, Paul Vasileff. “It’s a symbol of the dark fate that awaits Snow White, as well as one of triumph when the huntsman tricks his own queen.”

Zegler paired the dress with a bright red shawl and matching jewelry, including diamond earrings with red at the center and rings. She rounded it all out with white heels with a red heart on the front.

In Tokyo, Zegler performed a rendition of “Waiting on a Wish”, the first single of the Walt Disney Records band. “Snow White” co-stars Gal Gadot and premieres in theaters this March 21st.
