Mike Tyson’s ex-coach joins Joe Rogan and MMA legends on star-studded UFC 316 broadcast team

UFC 316 promises to be one of the biggest and best MMA fight cards so far this year.Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O’Malley will rematch for bantamweight gold in Saturday night’s main event.

Before that, 135lb queen Julianna Pena will defend her belt against Kayla Harrison in the UFC 316 co-headliner.

Such a stacked card needs an all-star broadcast team, which was revealed by MMA Fighting on Monday.

UFC 316 broadcast team revealed

Joe Rogan will return to commentary duty at UFC 316 after opting out of the latest pay-per-view show.

Dominick Cruz stepped in after the popular podcaster said he’d ‘rather go to Russia‘ than travel to Canada for UFC 315.

Rogan will return this weekend to commentate alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.

The rest of the broadcast team includes Teddy Atlas, who will serve as an analyst at UFC 316.

A renowned boxing trainer, Atlas oversaw Mike Tyson‘s early years before coaching top-level fighters such as Michael Moorer, Timothy Bradley, Shannon Briggs, Wilfred Benitez, and Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

Thankfully, UFC 317 is set to take place in Las Vegas, so he’ll be there for the June 28 card.

Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira will battle for the lightweight title vacated by Islam Makhachev in the main event.

Before that, Alexandre Pantoja will look to continue his dominant reign as flyweight champion when he takes on top contender Kai Kara-France.
